Jackie Wilson is the Regional Coordinator for the North East. She has worked at the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation since April 2008 initially covering Yorkshire and the Humber.

Her background is based around working with and mentoring special educational needs students 16+ building confidence, self esteem and helping them to work towards NVQ’s to gain employment.

Following this she worked as a Partnership Coordinator for a Community Partnership and Membership Coordinator for a Credit Union recruiting, training and supporting volunteers in a mixed area of urban and rural communities.

Prior to joining MBF she worked as a Project Manager for SOVA on a successful Mentoring programme in a Young Offender Institute, gaining the Approved Provider Standard Award for the project.

Jackie has the sector specific lead and is the MBF national contact for organisations working with offenders and ex-offenders.
