Shadow Minister for Justice on work experience with mentoring children’s charity

 David Burrowes, MP took part in the Inner City Challenge which places a MP as a volunteer for a voluntary sector organisation and find out more about the challenges they face.

Chance UK find mentors who intervene in the lives of primary school aged children with behavioural difficulties. David spent a week getting to grips with what the charity does to better understand the life-changing impact the project makes in hundreds of young people's lives.

David said:
"It has been a pleasure to get beneath the skin of such a great organisation and team. I will be doing what I can to spread the good work of Chance UK."

“As a Shadow Justice Minister and as an MP from a Borough where youth crime is of great concern, I hope to learn some lessons which could be applied in Enfield and nationally.”
