Aims
- To provide you with an introduction to training volunteer mentors
- To introduce you to the MBF resource that covers the basics of volunteer training
- To explore training frameworks that you can develop to suit your own programme and the needs of your volunteers
Audience
- Project co-ordinators or trainers for mentoring programmes with little or no prior experience of delivering training for volunteer mentors

- Increased understanding of the importance of learning styles when delivering training
- Increased knowledge of the key elements of mentor training
- Increased understanding on how to practise and appraise a range of activities appropriate for your training
