The Regional Co-ordinator for the East of England is Alan Whistlecraft. Alan has a degree from the Open University and has previous experience working as a volunteer in a range of settings.  Alan began working with the MBF in June 2006. Previously he worked in the voluntary sector for more than 10 years, most recently as the coordinator of a helpline.

Alan has a particular interest in befriending schemes.
