Business mentoring champions appointed to inform, engage and inspire young people about business

MBF welcomes recent appointments by the DCSF

The Schools Minister Iain Wright has appointed two business mentoring champions to lead the way in informing, engaging and inspiring young people about business.

They two business mentor champions are:
  • Richard Collier-Keywood, Managing Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
  • Heather Hancock, Managing Partner for Innovation, Deloitte

On their appointment, Iain Wright said:
"Our new business mentoring champions will help encourage more employers to work with schools and share their expertise, mentoring young people so they better understand the world of work."

Richard Collier-Keywood said:
"The real power of mentoring is the way in which it helps young people to build a vision of their future and improves their employability skills."

Heather Hancock said:
"Mentoring is a really effective way to give young people the skills and experience they need to excel in the workplace."

MBF welcomes their appointment and looks forward to supporting the DCSF in developing business mentoring across England.
