Befriending schemes working with older people urged to join

VitalLinks logo
VitalLinks is a new national network of befriending schemes for older people:
  • helping older people, their families and carers to locate a nearby scheme
  • helping befriending schemes to connect with each other
The goal of the network is to reduce loneliness and isolation by raising the profile of befriending for older people and filling the gaps in provision across England and Wales.

It is free to join, and provides numerous benefits for members. These include promotion of your scheme and the ability to connect and share good practice with colleagues at similar schemes.
