Jeremy Glover, new chief executive of OnSide
Jeremy Glover MBE has become the full time chief executive of new youth charity, OnSide North West. Jeremy has stepped down from his role as chief executive of Bolton Lads & Girls Club (BLGC) after thirty one years in post.

Jeremy will now lead a team that has been recruited to replicate the success of BLGC across the North West region (in Oldham, Blackburn, Manchester, Wigan and Carlisle).

OnSide was founded by North West businessman Bill Holroyd, to build world class youth zones across the region based on the successful BLGC model.  With a £300,000 grant from the North West Regional Development Agency, matched by £300,000 from the private sector, OnSide went on to place bids and receive £25m of the government’s myplace funding.

Steve Matthews chief executive of MBF had this to say on the appointment:
“We would like to wish Jeremy all the best in his new role and thank him for the many things he supported MBF with during his time at BLGC. From appearing as a seminar expert at the MBF national conference 2009, to his role as a talking head in the APS promotional film - Jeremy was always happy to help us out. We look forward to working with him again in his new role.”

Karen Edwards, who was the deputy chief executive of BLGC has taken over as Jeremy’s successor.
