CSJ Awards offer up to £10,000 for voluntary groups

Apply now if you can show how your project turns lives around and reverses social breakdown

The Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) run annual Awards which recognise effective poverty fighting groups from across the UK. Cash prizes of up to £10,000 are awarded to charities, small voluntary groups and other local projects that display innovation and effectiveness in addressing the causes of poverty, turning lives around and reversing social breakdown.

Now in its sixth year, the CSJ Awards have brought over 64 winning voluntary groups to the attention of the national media and policy makers and a total of £223,250 has been given out to date. Winners are announced at the Awards ceremony, which is attended by politicians, celebrities and the media.

Deadline for applications is 22 February 2010 and winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony in July.
