Comic Relief UK grants 2009-2012 announced

Focus areas for grants revealed

Comic Relief has chosen a number of focus areas for its UK grants programme for 2009-2012 which are now open and include:
  • Mental health
  • Young people experiencing domestic and sexual abuse (aged 11-25
  • Refugee and asylum seeking women (direct support and training)
  • Sport for change (addressing social issues)
  • Young people facing sexual exploitation or trafficking (aged 11-25)
  • Young people with alcohol problems (aged 11-25)
  • Young people with mental health problems (aged 11-25)
  • Local communities
Also coming soon:  Young carers and Older people programmes.

The next three application deadlines are:  24 July 2009, 13 November 2009 and 5 March 2010.
