Free resource on intergenerational learning
This discussion document from NIACE (National Institute of Adult Continuing Education) explores the links between intergenerational practice and informal learning.
A series of case studies show how intergenerational learning contributes to the agendas of schools, youth services and the Every Child Matters and Aiming High agendas through developing strategies that bring young people together with the wider community. Befriending and mentoring activities are included.
