MBF is pleased to announce that booking has opened for our third annual National Training Programme. Running since September 2007, MBF has trained over 700 mentoring and befriending practitioners and helped them to learn more about setting up and managing successful schemes throughout England.

Along with our current courses, we have added seven new courses to the training programme:

• Applying resilience to mentoring and befriending programmes in partnership with Befriending Network Scotland
• Developing a sustainable income approach in partnership with NCVO's Sustainable Funding Project
• Developing successful tender bids for public sector contracts in partnership with NCVO's Public Sector Delivery Network
• Peer mentor training skills for programme co-ordinators
• Peer support co-ordinator training in a primary setting  
• Raising your project's profile in partnership with Bolton Lads and Girls Club
• Solution focused mentoring in partnership with Chance UK
