‘Mentoring in Secondary Schools’ good practice dissemination conference
Lisbon conference to showcase findings of pan-European mentoring project
The Hammersmith and Fulham Education Business Partnership have, for the past three years, been co-ordinating a Comenius funded pan-European mentoring project with partners from the UK, Italy and Bulgaria.
During the course of the project, the partners from each country have been working together to investigate effective methods of setting up mentoring programmes for young people from differing cultures.
As the project approaches its climax, they are holding an information conference in Lisbon, Portugal on 25-26 September 2008 to to disseminate the findings of the project and its two key outputs:
• launching a unique Pan-European “Good Practice Guide to Mentoring” and
• a website providing information on the different mentoring projects and supporting materials for education staff.
