Full cost recovery toolkit

Launch of a simple six-stage toolkit to help projects calculate costs

ACEVO have developed a Full Cost Recovery Toolkit in conjunction with New Philanthropy Capital which is free to download.

It uses a simple six-stage process:
  1. Calculate the direct costs of the project
  2. Calculate the total overheads for the whole organisation
  3. Allocate the premises and office costs
  4. Allocate the costs of your central functions
  5. Allocate governance and strategic development costs
  6. Allocate general fundraising costs
It works with single and multiple project-based services and could be a useful tool for costing bids.
