Mentoring success stories at national conference

Young people told their moving stories at national mentoring and befriending conference on 22 May in Manchester

 Niall McFadden, 14, cares for his disabled mother and joined a mentoring programme at Bolton Lads and Girls' Club where he has made new friends and gained confidence.

Niall, along with other mentees and befriendees, took to the stage at the MBF National Conference in Manchester on 22 May 2008 to tell the 300+ delegates how mentoring gave them a fresh start.
