APS guidance on screening volunteers updated
Following a recent review of the Approved Provider Standard (APS) guidance that we give to projects in relation to screening volunteers, we have included some additional guidance on Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks.
Details are available on our website: Changes to APS guidance - CRB checks and also the APS guidance notes have been updated at Section 3, point 9.
These new arrangements will come into force immediately for all organisations currently in the process of applying for APS or seeking accreditation.
