Two new peer mentoring programmes launched by Teachers TV/MBF
Watch four 15 minute programmes highlighting good practice within the national peer mentoring pilot schools

The schools taking part in the programmes: Hornsey School for Girls in Haringey, North Manchester High School, Hemsworth Arts and Community College in Pontefract and Heritage Community School in Derbyshire have been part of the national pilot study into peer mentoring which began two years ago.
The programmes are entitled:
- Watch Peer Mentoring-Challenge and Change
- Watch Peer Mentoring-Matching and Caring
- Watch Peer Mentoring - Making the Grade
- Watch Peer Mentoring - A Personal Journey
These show different methods used and different barriers to be overcome in setting up and sustaining successful peer mentoring programmes.
These programmes are an invaluable resource for schools and are a useful tool for teachers, students and prospective mentees
The programmes are also available on the Teachers TV website and can also be viewed on Sky Guide 880, Virgin TV 240, Tiscali TV 845 and Freeview 88 (4-5pm)
