National Peer Mentoring Conference 8th March 2007 - Making a Difference

Hear about the positive impact that peer mentoring programmes are having on the development of young people


Who is the conference aimed at?
The conference is aimed at Directors of Children and Young Peoples Service and senior professional who have strategic responsibility for behaviour, attainment and citizenship within the local authority.  Participation is by invitation only.

What is covered?
The conference will host 5 workshops covering a range of projects applicable to education-based peer mentoring.  This is an opportunity to discover the positive work that is being undertaken across England to ensure that young people are able to reach their full potential. Workshops include:

• Workshop 1 - Partnership Working
• Workshop 2 - Self-Harm
• Workshop 3 - Anti-Bullying
• Workshop 4 - Transition
• Workshop 5 - Attainment

How much?
The conference is free to those who qualify to attend, participation is by invitation only.

Where?
The conference will take place at HM Treasury in London.
