NETWORKING - South East - Youth peer mentoring/befriending event

MBF and Oxford and Cherwell Valley College are working in partnership to provide you with the opportunity to meet with fellow peer mentoring, mentoring and befriending practitioners in your locality, to exchange information and share experiences of co-ordinating or managing a mentoring or befriending programme.

Aims

  • Enable you to network with other practitioners that are involved within the mentoring or befriending field (youth setting)
  • Provide you with the opportunity to share examples of practice in relation to mentoring or befriending
  • To raise awareness of how mentoring and befriending can work towards meeting specific aims and objectives in a youth setting

Audience
This event is specifically designed for those individuals managing, coordinating or responsible for the delivery of peer mentoring, mentoring or befriending provision for young people.

Format
A half day event including an insight into mentoring and befriending activity, group discussion and presentations from MBF and project co-ordinators.

How much does it cost?
The event is free of charge to practitioners and includes lunch; however a cancellation fee will be charged for non attendees without prior notice.
