A one day training event for practitioners wanting to implement a peer mentoring programme within FE, HE or Voluntary Organisations
Who is the course aimed at?
Aimed at practitioners working within Further and Higher Education, as well as those providing support services for young people within the voluntary and community sectors.
Why is this course relevant?
The course is aimed at introducing you to peer mentor programme co-ordination and provide you with core resources for training and supporting your peer mentors.

• Resourcing
• Marketing your programme
• Recruitment of participants
• Training the Peer Mentors
• Preparing Mentees
• Evaluation
• Networking and support
When and where?
Peer Mentor Co-ordinator Training Events run at various locations across England between September and March each year. Training events will run with a minimum of 10 delegates. If enough interest is expressed from a particular area or organisation, it is possible to arrange additional training days if required
How much?
The course costs £110 + vat per delegate or £99 + vat for MBF members. As part of the course fee, delegates also receive a complimentary copy of the peer mentoring training resource.
