Organisations: how to get involved

There are a number of ways that practitioners and organisations can get involved in mentoring and befriending.

Perhaps you are thinking of setting up a mentoring or befriending scheme and want some advice on how to go about it. Take a look at our 10 Steps guide or contact one of our Regional Co-ordinators who can give you guidance on setting up a scheme. We also have a range of resources that can be used to help you along the way, including DVDs, guides, training packs and leaflets.

You may already have a mentoring and befriending programme in operation but would like to improve the quality and standards of your service. If this sounds like you, take a look at the information about the Approved Provider Standard which you can work towards to gain a recognised badge of competence for your project.
