The Mentoring and Befriending Foundation is located in Eccles, Salford, which is 5 miles west of Manchester City Centre. It is only minutes away from the M60, M61, M62 and M602. The MBF is approximately 15 minutes by taxi from Manchester Piccadilly train station. Parking is available opposite the Foundation in a public car park.
From the northwest, take the M6 southbound, turn off onto the M61 towards Manchester onto the M602 and then come off at junction 2.
From the northeast, take the M1 southbound, turn off onto the M62 westbound onto the M60 west onto the M602 towards Preston and then come off at junction 2.
From the south, take the M6 northbound, turn off onto the M62 which turns into the M602 and then come off at junction 2.
From the city centre, take the A57/M602 towards Preston and then come off at junction 2.
Trains run from Manchester Victoria to Eccles. The journey is direct and takes approximately 8 minutes. Eccles station is approximately 5 minutes walk away from the MBF office.
NB Many trains arriving in Manchester stop at Piccadilly train station only. There is a connecting tram service available.
There is a Metrolink (tram) service which runs from various locations in the city centre including Manchester Piccadilly train station to Eccles. The journey is direct and takes approximately 40 minutes. The Metrolink station is less than 5 minutes walk from the MBF office.
