10. Prepare for re-accreditation
Continuous improvement is at the heart of APS. Following your accreditation you may have been given specific feedback with suggestions for further improvement.
This is the time to take on board the assessor’s feedback. You may also have been through a review or evaluation of your project or service which has highlighted any areas for improvement.
You should add these to a continuous improvement plan in preparation for your
re-accreditation of APS. Again this should set out the objectives you are aiming for, the resources you will need and the outcomes you want to see happening as a result. Also don’t forget to not only look at areas for development or improvement, but also how you are going to build on your strengths.
Renewing the award after three years will involve the same assessment process your organisation went through when you were first accredited with APS. We will keep in contact with you throughout the accreditation period and will notify you when you need to apply for re-accreditation.
